| Thank you for visiting our website. Florida Golden Gloves is a non profit organization incorporated in the State of Florida. Golden Gloves has organized boxing tournaments since 1923. Annually, throughout the U.S., thousands of youths are offered the opportunity to compete in Olympic style boxing tournaments. The Golden Gloves program is organized on a territorial basis to give all sections of the country representation. Each territory conducts their own tournament to determine the champions that will represent their respective areas at the NATIONAL GOLDEN GLOVES TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS. |

Florida Golden Gloves, offers an opportunity for the youth in our community to REALIZE THEIR POTENTIAL. To compete, to strive to be a champion, and to take pride in a good effort (win or lose) teaching values that will help our young athletes throughout their lives. These are lessons in life that are remembered long after the bell rings in the final round. We offer POSITIVE ALTERNATIVES to the problems facing our youth today. | ||

Each year Florida Golden Gloves conducts its tournaments throughout the state of Florida. Then, a team of up to 11 athletes, 2 coaches, 2 officials, and 2 delegates are sent to the National Golden Gloves Tournament of Champions. In Olympic years Golden Glovers advance to the next level and compete to represent the U.S.A. at the Olympics. We are proud to say that Florida Golden Gloves has had an athlete from the state of Florida in 4 of the last 5 Olympics …Roy Jones, Antonio Tarver, Jeff Lacy, and Andre Berto.
