Only the Open Class Elite Female & Elite Male Champions will advance to the National Golden Gloves Tournament in Detroit, Michigan on May 11th through May 18th, 2024. All others are matched bouts only; however, weight classes are “mandatory”.
A boxer "Must Compete - Must Box” to be eligible for the Florida Golden Gloves Franchise to financially pay for their way to the Golden Gloves of America National Tournament.
The Florida Golden Glove franchise reserves the right to deem an “UNCONTESTED” boxer “Unqualified” to travel with the Florida Golden Glove franchise team to the National Golden Gloves of America Tournament in Detroit, Michigan.
An “Uncontested Open Class Boxer” may participate in the Golden Gloves of America National Tournament but must pay his or her own travel, lodging, and meal expenses.

ENTRY FORM DEADLINE: Monday, March 11th, 2024, at 12:00 PM.
TOURNAMENT BOXER ENTRY FEE: $25.00 per entry.
TOURNAMENT COACH ENTRY FEE: $15.00 per entry.
$25.00 entry fee for all non-tournament participants (7 and under free). If a "USA Boxing registered" Boxer or Coach is not registered in the tournament, he or she must pay the $25 entry fee to watch the boxing tournament.
Advancing boxers must be at least 18 years of age on January 1st, 2024, but not yet 41 years of age on May 18th, 2024.
All “Legal” US citizens are eligible to participate. Non-US citizens who are legal residents of the US and have resided in the US at least one (1) year are also eligible to participate.
Boxers must have their 2024 USA Boxing membership current. "Head-shot photo", “Birth Certificate” and current “Annual Physical” form must be uploaded on their USA Boxing membership profile.
All coaches must be registered with USA Boxing and certified for the 2024 year. All coaches must have completed the Safe Sport Training, Green Level Coaches Certification (at minimum), and have passed the Background Check, with USA Boxing. If the coach is not registered, he or she will not be allowed to work their boxer’s corner.
If a coach is not registered in the tournament, the coach must pay the $25.00 admission fee (No Exceptions).
Friday, March 29th, Saturday, March 30th, and Sunday, March 31st, 2024, at 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Only those boxers who are scheduled to compete on that day must weigh in. All Open class boxers must make their, “DECLARED” weight. If you are not in line to be weighed in by 10:00 AM you will be “disqualified”. Scales will close at 10:00 AM sharp.

No minimum number of contested bouts required to compete at the State Tournament. The minimum bout requirement to compete at the National Tournament is ten (10) bouts. Walkovers are not considered competition.
MMA boxers must compete as an “Open Class” boxer or see USA Boxing Rulebook - Rule # 8.2
